Repository for making task-based functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) datasets, including raw data along with associated metadata, openly available to the research community. It is managed by Russ Poldrack at the University of Texas at Austin, with computing resources provided by the Texas Advanced Computing Center.
The main goal is to provide the necessary infrastructure and support for researchers who wish to publicly share their fMRI data. A secondary goal is to use the database as a testbed for advanced data analysis and high-performance computing approaches.

SciCrunch is a data sharing and display platform. Anyone can create a custom portal where they can select searchable subsets of hundreds of data sources, brand their web pages and create their community. SciCrunch will push data updates automatically to all portals on a weekly basis. User communities can also add their own data to scicrunch, however this is not currently a free service.
