We currently recognize the following tests are fulfilling the requirement for checking normality of the data. The following tests are recognizable by SciScore:
Name of the test (also known as)
Shapiro-Wilk
Levene test (Levene's test)
Kolmogorov-Smirnov (KolmogorovSmirnov, K-S Normality Test)
F-test
D'Agostino-Pearson omnibus (D'Agostino's K2 test, D'Agostino & Pearson normality test,
d'Agostino and Pearson normality test)
The following tests are not currently recognizable by SciScore because of the lack of sufficient use in the scientific literature to train a classifier. If your test for normality, kurtosis or other statistical distributions was not recognized by SciScore, it may be because you are using a less common test such as the ones listed below. We will reevaluate the scientific literature roughly annually to determine if any of these tests are now in sufficient usage to train SciScore to recognize them.
Name of the test not currently included in SciScore evaluation (also known as)
Q-Q plot
Grubb's outlier test (Grubb's test)
Lilliefors test
Brown-Forsythe (Brown-Forsythe's test)
Mauchly’s testtest of sphericity
Barlett's test (Barlett test)
